In order for your application to be considered, you must fulfill the following Eligibility Requirements:
- You must be a young activist[1], part of a youth-led or oriented organization, an ICT expert, or a journalist living in a developing country, with a proven track record in activities that promote better transparency and accountability for better governance
- You must register on the GYAC website (
- You must be available to attend the GYAC and IACC conferences in Brasilia, Brazil, between November 5-10, 2012[2]
- The representative of your organization who will attend the conference and thereafter represent GYAC must be fluent in English

6.3. Give an example of a youth, anti-corruption/ governance reform initiative that you know of, or are involved with, and which effectively uses ICT. This could be a project at the local, national or international level. Describe the initiative highlighting especially the innovative ICT tools and approaches.
Please feel free to complete your application with any supporting documents you deem appropriate, such as short case studies, reports, and multimedia material. These should exemplify your organization’s work in anti-corruption and/or use of innovative tools and approaches.
