Earth Week Events

Guest Speakers

April 16-21, 2007

Thank you for agreeing to speak in NorthSeattleCommunity College’s (NSCC) Earth Week events. Dr. Ron LaFayette has set NorthSeattleCommunity College on the path to be a leader in the sustainability movement. It is NSCC’s goal to increase student and community awareness and involvement in issues of sustainability.

Parking restrictions have been waived for the week so when you arrive at NSCC, please park wherever it is convenient. Weather permitting, events will take place in the courtyard just outside of the bookstore. We will have a speaker system but no other technology. Should weather be inclement, we will hold the event in Baxter Hall (just down from the cafeteria). A map of the campus is available at http:northseattle.edu.

NSCC Sustainability Coordinator Jill Lane, along with students Terry Fresenius, Simone Church, and Ryan Washburn, will be available to help you should you need it. We will be the folks with the clipboards. Also, Jill will have her cell phone and can be reached at (206) 251-4850. She may also be reached via e-mail at .
