Saint Mary’s College and Values Technology are teaming up to offer an accreditation for the Hall-Tonna Values Instrument. Successful completion of this program provides you with in-depth and practical knowledge in the Hall-Tonna Values Development System that qualifies you to administer and interpret the Hall-Tonna Values Assessments for individuals. The program will pay close attention to understanding and using the values assessment tool. Learning to be a coach is a whole different activity, and we recommend that people interested in becoming coaches also pursue that specific training as well. Saint Mary’s is planning to offer more courses in coaching in the coming years.

Design: As you know, the values instrument is an extraordinary and complex instrument. This program is designed for those who have already been engaged with the Hall-Tonna Values system, either independently or through coursework at Saint Mary’s College MA in Leadership program.

Prerequisites: Due to the fact that the course is accelerated and people taking this Level One Accreditation will be able to purchase and interpret values surveys for others, there are prerequisites for participating in this program. In order to join this Level One Accreditation program, participants will have: completed at least one values survey and coaching sessionin the recent past, good familiarity with the text Values Shift: A Guide to Personal and Organizational Transformation (Hall, 2006) and ongoing familiarity with applying values to our leadership actions in the world.

Two-Step Application Process:

  1. Email of Intent: Please first submit an email of intent to Doug at , which includes a brief statement about what you wish to accomplish with completion of this Level One Values Accreditation, and how you meet and satisfy the given prerequisites.
  2. Securing Your Place: Once you have been accepted into the program, you will be sent a link to RSVP/Payment and secure your spot in the program. Applications will be answered on a first-come, first-served basis. Please act soon, as we expect the program to fill to capacity.
