1. Introduction:
The Department of French Language and Literature opened in 1984 to give the opportunity to students who majored the language, the literature or the culture of France of continuing the same studies at a higher level. The students will also be initiated to research methodologies making them able to analyze deeply academic texts related to the French culture. Around ten students graduated this department since 1984 and gave their contribution to the country by developing the studies of foreign languages. They are working continuously to introduce French Language, Literature and Culture to the country and to spread our cultural heritage abroad.
