a) “That under its duty of care for all employees, the Council is encouraged to consider greater security within the office for its staff and at all times has awareness for this duty of care. Security of the front office door is particularly important and measures should be installed so that the officers can control who is permitted into the building at specific times.”
b) “We would advise that the Council may wish to adopt a policy on the filming of its meetings. If meetings of the Council are being filmed then it may well have the effect of calming behavior at meetings.”
13. COUNCIL VACANCY
See copy document H being a copy of correspondence received from Electoral Services Department at Doncaster MBC.
Electoral Service advise that official poll cards are NOT compulsory for Town Council elections and a decision is needed as to whether the Council would like poll cards to be issued. Costs include second class postage rates and price of printing the poll cards. The law requires that any such request is made no later than noon on Friday 16th June 2017.
Yours sincerely
