This information is being sent to all families in College Station ISD in accordance with Texas Administrative Code to notify you that online registration for credit by exams will open the first week of March.
What are credit by exams?
Credit by exams are elective tests taken for the purpose ofskippingan elementary grade level or secondary course.Your campus counselor is the best person to provide guidance on whether credit by exam is a good option for your student.
INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS
If you are interested in having your child take a credit by exam, please plan to attend one of the two meetings listed below. These meetings will provide you with information about changes to the credit by exam program and give you an opportunity to ask questions.
· January 25 6:00 PM CSISD Transportation Center on Rock Prairie Road
· February 1 6:00 PM CSISD Transportation Center on Rock Prairie Road
To access information and online registration, go to www.csisd.org and click on the Parent Info tab. You will see Credit by Exam on this page. There are separate registration forms for Kindergarten, Elementary (students entering grades 1-4), and Secondary (students entering grades 5-12). The Frequently Asked Questions link provides detailed information about credit by exam testing.

Crédito por exámenes son pruebas electivas tomadas con el propósito de saltarse un grado de la primaria o secundaria. Su consejero de la escuela es la mejor persona para proporcionar orientación acerca de si el crédito por examen es una buena opción para su estudiante.
REUNIONES INFORMACIONALES
Si Ud. está interesado en que su hijo tome un crédito por examen, por favor planea a asistir a una de las dos siguientes reuniones. Estas reuniones le proporcionará información sobre los cambios al programa del crédito por examen y le dará la oportunidad de hacer preguntas.
