Our 1st destination will EITHERbe Plan A - Antelope Valley CA Poppy Reserve for a breathtaking display of CA's state flower. Be ready for an eye-popping show of countless bright orange petals unfurling in the sunlight dotting the region in bright golden blossoms; OR if the poppies aren't showing off that day, Plan B - Devil's Punchbowl Natural Area, a unique geological wonder with a landscape that feels somewhat other worldly. You will see spectacular uptilted rock formations created by layers of sedimentary rocks formed long ago.
Then head to the Poppy Festival with its glorious array of celebrated performers, unrivaled events & mouth-watering delicacies. Get ready for tons of fun at your favorite educational animal programs with a variety of unique animals including reptiles, birds & insects or interact with mini-horses, llamas, pot-belly pigs & more at the huge Petting Zoo. For the daring, they can try the Euro Bungy's extreme air power jump that creates a weightless sensation. You may also stroll through the Arts & Crafts Marketplace, a shopper's paradise featuring more than 200 vendors & thousands of handmade fine arts & quality crafts such as jewelry, wooden toys, glassware, aromatic soaps, denim clothing, stained glass, leather items ...... More shopping awaits at the Farmers Market with fresh flowers, assorted plants, bonsai trees, & of course colorful poppies as well as homegrown fruits & vegetables, nuts, honey, jams, olives, gourmet spices & other delicious products.The hundreds of exhibits, sumptuous array of tasty treats & not-to-be missed performances will delight, enchant & amuse your entire family.
