Hope you all had a fine Thanksgiving. These days are short and they seem to be turning fast. Christmas will be here before we're ready. But before that, we have our Mansfield ASQ Social Dinner Meeting. Our Social Meeting is intended to be shared with our members spouses, significant others, or guests.
This year we will be enjoying the Malabar Farms "Candlelight Holiday Tour". Tour Louis Bromfield's Big House all decked out for the holidays while enjoying freshly baked cookies and hot cider.
It has been about 10 to 15 years since our section has toured Malabar. But I can still remember what a great historic and beautiful estate Malabar is. And the Christmas decorations makes it all the more amazing.
FRIDAY, FRIDAY, FRIDAY This month's meeting has moved to Friday since Malabar Farms was not set up to give tours Thursday evening. So if you're not already booked for Friday the 11th, come and join us for an evening of fine fellowship and splendor. Give Caryn a call or email by Wednesday noon to let her/us know you're coming.

About Malabar Farm Restaurant:
The Malabar Farm Restaurant, located in beautiful Pleasant Valley in southern Richland County, holds a rich history all its own. Completed in 1820 by David Schrack and his sons, the two story home was made from bricks formed on site. In 1941 the Schrack Place became part of the Malabar Farm, home of the Pulitzer Prize winning author, farmer, and conservationist Louis Bromfield.

2.) Greetings from the Chair :
This being my last message from the chair I would like to thank everyone in the section and outside the section that have contributed to the success of the Mansfield ASQ Section 0811 over the years and that I have had the opportunity to lead such an excellent group of Quality professionals!
We have had some REAL exciting experiences and I hope to continue to contribute to the success of the section in my new role!

Message from the Chief Proctor:
The most important news I have is that Shannon Lasser took the CQI Exam on October 3rd and PASSED! Way to go Shannon!!!
Additionally, if you plan on taking an Exam on March 5th, 2016 the last day to register is January 15th, 2016 (or January 21st - but you have to pay a late fee of $50).
There are numerous certification exams coming up if you are interested. See the listing above.

9.) NOPA stands for the Northcentral Ohio Personnel Association. It has about 135 members
from Ashland / Richland and surrounding counties. NOPA is an affiliate chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management.
They meet at the Westbrook Country Club and begin at 11:30 am and end around 1:00 pm. The cost is $10 for NOPA members and $12 for guests.
