As part of a small team designing civil engineering solutions for utilities affected by the Luas Light Rail, my duties included the following:

·  Design and supervision of site investigations

·  Gathering information on all utilities to be affected by the 'swept path' of the proposed tram

·  Designing solutions to a variety of practical problems

·  Liasing with utility operators to agree optimum solutions for each utility network
