Post 201404 – Year 2 Teacher

Dear Prospective Applicant

The governing body is looking for an experienced, talented, enthusiastic and committed teacher to passionately teach one of our Year 2 classes.

The post is for a full time teacher. It is temporary from 1st September 2014 as it is covering a member of staff who is on long term absence. The post will cease on the member of staff returning to work, however this is not anticipated til March 2015. This post is a main scale / UPS post for Band 1 - 3 pay range depending upon experience.

The successful candidate will need to be:

  • Skilled, hardworking, creative and innovative
  • Looking for an opportunity to develop standards in maths, English and the full primary curriculum in a Year 2 class.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about making a difference to children’s lives

St Margaret’s is a popular two form entry primary and nursery school in north Warrington which has recently benefited from a £3.1m building programme. The new facilities and environment enhance learning and, alongside the welcoming and professional staff team, contribute to this being a well respected and oversubscribed Church school. The campus has two buildings; the extensive new main building with the core class teaching bases in which you would be primarily based and an additional training / community building which hosts our dedicated specialist music resource and teaching base. The school has great links with its local community, local schools and its foundation church.
