New product – the load optimised HTK 19

The new Humbaur HTK 19 tandem three-way tipper makes its début at the bauma 2016 exhibition. With a permissible gross weight of 19 tonnes, the HTK 19 is not only ideal for bulk materials such a earth, sand, gravel, concrete and rubble, but also construction materials such as bricks and concrete blocks. The design of the tandem three-way tipper is based on the width of a pallet and therefore guarantees the safe transportation of palletised goods. The HTK 19 meets all the requirements of a modern versatile transport trailer. With optimised drive and tip qualities and a relatively low tare weight, the tipper offers a reliable helping hand for heavy-duty work.
Fully operational
A sturdy welded and hot-dip galvanised frame provides outstanding stability and safety for tough everyday conditions on the job site. The platform frame with longitudinal and cross struts is designed for maximum stability and high point loads. A four millimetre thick platform floor made from Hardox steel and 1,000 millimetre high Hardox drop sides guarantee maximum wear resistance. The hinged drop sides are fitted with a central lock. The hinged rear wall located between two sturdy stanchions also has an automatic tailgate release. The new Humbaur tandem three-way tipper is equipped with a hydraulic motorised three-way tipper for outstanding tipping results. The tipper incorporates a five-stage hard-chromed cylinder with stroke limitation. Two swap-proof rocker-bearing bolts prevent unintentional diagonal distribution during tipping and increase overall safety as a result. The roof-shaped central tube is fitted with a screw-in towing ring 50 millimetres in diameter and does not become dirty when the tipper tilts back simultaneously due to the design. The tandem three-way tipper is fitted with a reinforced 12-tonne geared support jack with load and fast speeds and cuts a good figure when decoupled. The integral low-maintenance air suspension can set the tipper to an extremely low load height if required, and guarantees stable drive qualities and optimal load compensation, even during transportation. A tow ring and 6-tonne lashing points at the front are naturally provided.
Anti-corrosion protection that lasts
The chassis frame on the tandem three-way tipper is hot-dip galvanised as standard and provides optimal corrosion protection in harsh day-to-day applications. The platform frame and drop sides are primed and finished with a high-quality 2-component paint as standard, while the hollow chambers are sealed.
Versatile individual fittings
Additional tie-down points are available as individual fittings for optimal load securing. The HTK 19 is also optionally available painted completely in any RAL colour or also available with a galvanised bridge and an S400 steel floor. Other optional fittings include a folding underride protection, a SmartBoard and a multi-voltage light and brake system in 12 or 24 volt version.
