Available positions:

1.  Control Engineer – Abu Dhabi based

Provide specialist technical support to Offshore and Island site Instrument and Control Teams. Plan direct, coordinate, assist and responsible for timely, safe, cost effective maintenance and implementation of small projects/Facility Changes in line with applicable industry standards, codes, good engineering practices to ensure Reliability and Availability target as dictated by ZADCO Maintenance Policy.

Provide technical/maintenance expertise and assistance to site with applicable code and standards and experience based knowledge on all related maters to Instrument & Control System Maintenance Engineering etc

Principal Functions:

§  Provide technical /Maintenance expertise and assurance to offshore & Island based sites with applicable codes and standards and experience based knowledge on all related matters to Instrument and Control Systems Maintenance Engineering etc…

§  Assist developing maintenance programs for input to the 5 years Business/Operating Plans and yearly operating plans for Instrument and Control Systems.

§  For minor projects, upgrades and retrofits, prepare scope of work, liaise with department for engineering packages, review engineering packages as application, raise contract requisition, provide support for tendering strategy, ITT documents issue, review/evaluate technical bids and issue final recommendations for contract award.

§  Provide support/liaise with CM for all tender activities for preparation of Contracts for overhauls/maintenance activities for major systems and minor projects upgrade and retrofits works.

§  Monitor, supervise and control through various states of minor projects/retrofits/upgrade execution, with contractor during site survey, preparation of FDS, detailed engineering construction/integration, FAT/SAT, installation, commissioning and changeover of systems updating of technical documents to as-built status in liaison with site teams.

§  Plan, arrange resources for planned maintenance activities as per operating plans.

§  Receive SR from Site for repair/overhaul/fabrication of instrument related items and prepare scope of work, issue request for quotation, issue order and follow-up works according to QA/QC plan.

Minimum Requirements:

§  Bachelor Degree in Instrumentation Technology or Electrical/Electronics Engineering

§  Minimum 10 years expreicne in Oil or related industry of which 5 years should be in design and engineering of Electronics, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Control Systems including Actuators and Actuated Valves; pressure Safety Valves; Field Instrument, Emergency Shutdown and Fire & Gas Systems and their components.

§  Excellent knowledge of International Codes and Standards in his own fields and general knowledge of other discipline.

§  Age below 55

2.  Electrical Reliability Engineer –Abu Dhabi based

Provide technical expertise with experience based knowledge and assistance to technical and operational divisions/department on all related matters to reliability engineering, reliability assessment, reliability monitoring for all electrical equipment. Carried out reliability studies on existing electrical equipment to assist fields/maintenance support department in reviewing maintenance practices, philosophies and strategies. Assists in developing maintenance programs for major overhauls. Liaise with Engineering and major projects in the reliability engineering, design and specifications of plants and installations of new projects. Advise maintenance support on trouble shooting of non-routine failure, cause analysis and reliability audits as required. Conduct RFCA, APM, RCM. Uses CMMS data and carried our FMEA, RCFA for electrical equipment. Use reliability engineering tools and methods. Leads and participate Brown Field/Greenfield Engineering activities to improve e reliability of the optimize maintenance cost.

Minimum Requirements:

·  Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and certification in Reliability Engineering, RCM or Six Sigma, CMRP or equivalent

·  10 – 12 years expreicne in the field of maintenance (hands-on and support) related field in Oil/Petrochemical Industry with background of Maintenance Management Systems based RCM/CBM.

·  Good knowledge and experience with RAM/ROM, Reliability and RCA engineering software packages.

3.  Electrical Engineer (Abu Dhabi Based)

Provide technical support to site, project team, maintenance department and independently handle electrical works as Job Officer covering all aspects of engineering activities in his discipline for a variety of small and large project works in accordance with relevant standards. Define the Electrical requirements and in the performance of Electrical Engineering for the assigned works till execution of job. Participate in site survey of existing facilities to establish and identify the actual requirements for assessment and approval of best initiatives, study assessment and facility changes. Participate in monitoring and reviewing engineering design carried out by Consultant/Engineering Companies including feasibility, conceptual, basic and detailed engineering. Coordinate with other discipline engineers including, planning HSE, costing etc. Participate in the clarifications meeting with contractors and vendors. Direct and supervise the activities of draftsmen and mentoring national graduates.

Preparation of electrical engineering packages for upgrading, replacement and modification of electrical equipment comprising scope of work, data sheets, MTO, cable schedule, tie-in schedule and various layout drawings. Discipline input to scope of work of various package items for such as chlorination unit, RP units, inert gas units, chemical injection packages, de-Salter packages etc., Develops electrical engineering calculations such as DG rating, short circuit levels, control gear components, voltage drop calculations, Transformer, DC & AC UOS system sizing, lighting and earthing design, cable ampacity and relay setting calculations etc. Develop Single line diagrams, schematic diagrams, troubleshooting diagrams cable routing, earning and lighting layouts and hazardous area classifications documents. Perform adequacy check for existing generators, transformers, SWBDs, cable etc. Carryout vendor drawing review and approval of vendors / contractors drawings/technical documents. Review FAT/SAT procedures, witnessing tests, installation, testing, commissioning at site as-built documents and spare parts requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

·  Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering

·  Minimum 10 years of expreicne in Oil & Gas related industry of which at least 70% should be in the Engineering and design of Electrical System (HV/LV Power Generation and Distribution) of Offshore/Onshore plants. Expeirnce in Consultancy company is preferred.

·  Excellent knowledge of International Codes and Standards in his own field and general knowldge of other discipline.

4.  Instrument Engineers (Abu Dhabi Based)

Provide compete technical support in all aspects of Project Engineering activities related to instrumentation and control discipline covering facility changes, feasibility studies, planning, basic and detailed engineering, sizing/calculations, drawing etc. in accordance with sound engineering practices, international codes and standards.

Principal Accountabilities:

·  Provide sound, expert technical advice and solution to a diversity of technical problems within his discipline.

·  Direct and supervise the activities of subordinates and draftsmen

·  Perform adequacy and troubleshooting studies, engineering for plant modifications and upgrades, Flow elements, control and safety valve sizing calculations etc.

·  Carried out site surveys/data collection and validation of as-built status, develop detailed studies and designs for new and facility medications.

·  Coordinates, provide input and interfaces with other disciplines, operations and other services during engineering dev elopement, construction, precommissioning, start-up and trouble shooting.

·  Review deliverables from engineering contractors for major modifications projects in the facilities.

·  Develop specifications, requisitions, data sheets engineering packages including instrument location plans, routing layout, loop diagrams, instrument tie-ins MTO, schedules, technical SOW for consultants/construction contractors.

·  Provide technical support to site/other services in material inspection, FAT, construction, precommissioning, start-up, troubleshooting etc. Prepare material take-ff and purchase requisitions/specifications, perform technical bid evaluations, review vendor drawings and documents.

·  Participate control system function test and performance validation test

·  Pontificate HAZOP and other safety review.

Minimum Requirements:

·  Bachelor Degree in Instrument & Control Engineering or equivalent

·  Minimum 10 years expreicne in Oil & Gas projects of which at least 70% should be in the engineering and design engineering companies. Offshre expreicne is preferred. Excellent knowledge of International Codes and Standards

·  Fully aware of SIS, SIL, selection and various electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems including Actuators and Actuated valves, pressure safety valves, field instruments, etc. DCS, F&G, ESD systems and their components.

5.  Process Engineer (Abu Dhabi Based)

·  Provide a complete range of Process Engineering Services to the Business Unit.

·  Plant operations technical support. Execution of studies, modifications and projects as an individual or as part of a team.

·  Perform plant modification and refurbishments studies and process simulation using different computer software.

·  Develops detailed heat and material balance, and design for new internally engineered projects and review the major modifications in the production facilities.

·  Develop PFDs, P&IDs, UFD, Cause and effect tables and required design specifications and perform equipment sizing calculations and calculate line sizes and flow summaries.

·  Provide process data for instrument sizing.

·  Prepare technical proposals and engineering estimates and scope of work for the studies/projects to be handled by outside consultant or contractors.

·  Prepare start-up and commissioning procedures for the new modification and provide assistance in preparing operating manuals and procedures and apply international codes and HSE guidelines to existing and new modifications.

·  Assist and participate in troubleshooting, plant start-up and commissioning and provide technical advise and assistance to plant operation and maintenance selection and participate in operation review audit.

·  Prepare tender specification and conduct bid evaluation and review vendor drawings and documents.

·  Attend functional test and performance guarantee test and guide flow sheet draftsmen in detailed flow sheet.

·  Interface with other engineering discipline and provide process input to carryout detailed engineering activities and participate and chair HAZOP and HAZEN studies.

·  Carry out plant trial runs to obtain operating data for studies.

·  Provide input to reports to TCM and other MIS

Minimum Requirements:

·  B.Sc. Degree in Chemical Engineering

·  At least 10 years expreicne in Oil & Gas industry related./ Experience shall have covered projects, detailed design and operations technical support.

6.  Site Inspection Engineer (Offshore Complex/Island)

To ensure proper implementation of ZADCO’s inspection Management Systems (IMS) across his operation site in accordance with the international standards/procedures and HSEMS to ensure mechanical integrity risks at the operations site are monitored and reported. This includes conducting visual intrusive inspection of variety of static equipments (Pressure vessels, heat exchangers, column, tanks, piping systems etc..)

Minimum Requirements:

·  Bachelor Degree in Chemical /Mechanical or Metallurgical engineering

·  10 years of experience in Plant inspection activities within Oil & Gas Industry.

·  Knowledge of basic welding engineering and welding inspection certifications from TWI CSWIP or AWS CWI is required.

·  API 510/570/580/653 certification is highly recommended,

·  Certification in NDT (ASNT or PCN in UT,RT, MT, PT is required)

·  Knowldge of lifting/loose gear inspection and certification is recommended

·  Participation in Inspection/Integrity related conferences and forums, publications in the corrosion field is preferred.

·  ISO 9001:2008 Auditor Certification or equivalent is preferred.

7.  Corrosion Engineer (Offshore Complex/Island)

To ensure proper implementation of ZADCO corrosion Management System across his operation site in accordance with the international standards / procedures and HSEMS to control corrosion risks at the operations site. This includes a variety of corrosion control and monitoring activities including materials failure analysis, chemical treatment, cathodic protection, chemical analysis and corrosion monitoring that will ensure integrity of assets in satisfactory conditions with risks of failure kept at ALARP.

Minimum Requirements:

·  Bachelor Degree in Chemical /Mechanical/Metallurgical engineering

·  10 years expreicne in corrosion control and monitoring activities within oil & Gas Industry.

·  NACE certification in the field of CP and Internal corrosion is preferred.

·  Participation in Corrosion related conferences and forums, publications in the corrosion field is preferred.

·  Knowledge of the online coupon retrieval operations is required.

·  Knowledge in the production chemicals performance monitoring for oil and gas industry is required.

·  ISO 9001:2008 Auditor certification or equivalent is preferred.

8.  Corrosion Engineer (Abu Dhabi Based)

To ensure proper implementation of ZADCO’s Corrosion Management System (CMS) and related manuals and procedures, upgradation and improvement of these systems documents as and when required. Assessment and measurements of CMS performance at operating sites, and feedback to concerned department and higher management. Scope includes conducting periodic review and audits of ZADCO CMD and its implementation across all sites, identification of gasps and implementation of improvement actions as well as support to EP, MP OSMS on project document reviews. Conduct annual review and audits of corrosion monitoring, control, inspection and overall corrosion management systems to identify gasps. Develops corrosion working procedures to ensure consistent implementation of work across working sites. Prepare, monitor and control annual budget as required for procurement of external corrosion management services and equipment. Liaise as function as Job Officer to scope, tender and administer contracts and orders related to corrosion management and services and equipment. Analyze PACER data to identify emerging long-term trends. Assure technical accuracy of all CMS programs result and their disposition. Conduct failure investigation as required and recommend remedial actions.

Minimum Requirements:

·  Bachelor Degree in Chemical /Mechanical/Metallurgical engineering

·  10 years expreicne in corrosion control and monitoring activities within oil & Gas Industry.

·  NACE certification in the field of CP and Internal corrosion is preferred.

9.  Sr. Site Integrity Engineer (Offshore Complex/Island Based)

Lead site based integrity team consisting of inspection and corrosion engineers to ensure full site compliance to IMS and CMS requirement in accordance to International standards, work procedures and ZADCO’s HSEMS by which site integrity threats are identified, monitored and controlled to the ALARP level. Job scope covers all above sea static equipment, structures and lifting equipments.
