Thank you for your request which we received on 07 October 2016. In your request you asked for the following;
This request relates to UK Legislation, specifically TM44 Air Conditioning Inspections.
Q1. Are you responsible for any buildings with more than 12kw of air conditioning present?
Q2. Who is the responsible person for ensuring that your buildings are inspected and reports lodged, please provide the name, address, and telephone number of the responsible person.
Q3. If your TM44 Air Conditioning Inspection Certificates are in place, what is their expiry date?
Q4. What was the order value of the works placed with the Company who undertook the work?
Q5. How many Certificates were produced?
Q6. Was the TM44 Inspector independent as required under the Regulations?
Q7. Name the Inspector Organisation.
We can confirm that we have the information you requested; this information is enclosed below;
- The Boundary Commission for Wales is a tenant along with the Local Democracy and Boundary Commission for Wales, which is responsible for the floor of the building which it occupies. The office has air conditioning units which, combined, are more than 12kw.
- The Business Support Manager is responsible for maintaining this. Her details are

- The Commission does not have any TM44 certificate as the air-conditioning units are less than five years old. They are not due for testing until 2019.
