Highlights of the Manchester Paget’s Information Day on DVD

The Paget’s Information Day, which took place in September, was filmed by BellyflopTV Ltd. From this we will soon have three professional films available to purchase on a DVD.If you were not able to attend the Information Daythen these highlights of the day will be of great educational value and can be viewed in the comfort of your own home.Each DVD will contain all three films and the total viewing time will be approximately an hour and a half. The DVDs are available to members of the Paget’s Association only, and cost just £5.

The DVDs should be available around the end of November and the edited content is likely to be as follows:

Film One: This will feature Dr Daroszewska, Professor O’Neill and Dr Stone discussing Paget’s disease, what Paget’s is, and the causes, incidence and treatment.

Film Two:Aspects of research into Paget’s diseasewill be discussed byProfessor Fraser, Professor Layfield, Dr Burrell and Dr Green. In addition, two students will explain their newresearch projects.

Film Three:It is intended that individuals will discuss their experience of Paget’s disease and ask the experts questions. Professor Fraser will explain how research makes a difference for patients, and our Specialist Paget’s Nurse, Diana Wilkinson, will discuss how Paget’s disease can affect individuals and how the Paget’s Association provides advice and support.
