Approval of an IFCO Family Scholarship

Whereas it is the responsibility of the Board of Directors of the IFCO to advance, promote and protect straight chiropractic, and

Whereas the future of straight chiropractic can only be secured by chiropractors, and

Whereas IFCO Ruling Members have dedicated themselves to advancing, promoting and protecting straight chiropractic,

Now therefore be it resolved to approve, adopt, authorize and fund the IFCO Family Scholarship in the amount of $500 per year per son or daughter of an IFCO Ruling Member who has been in good standing for a minimum of ten years to attend Chiropractic College.

The IFCO Family Scholarship

This is a $500 scholarship to anyqualified chiropractic college student who is thechild of an IFCO Ruling member.

Each qualified applicant will be permitted to receive the scholarship award once every calendar year for a maximum of four years.

Who is Qualified: Any matriculating chiropractic student of an accredited chiropractic college, who is the son or daughter of an IFCO Ruling Member, provided that member has been in good standing for a minimum of ten years. The student must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and maintain that minimum GPA through their academic career.

How to apply:

(A) Complete on-line application form, making sure to include all requested information. Email form as an attachment to with IFCO FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP in the Subject line.

(B) College must verify matriculating status and must indicate that the student meets the minimum 3.0 GPA in a letter postmarked by December 1st of the calendar year in which the student is applying to IFCO Family Scholarship∙ 2276 Wassergass Road ∙ Hellertown, PA 18055.

Deadline:

(A) Scholarship application forms must be received by email by December 1st of the calendar year in which the student is applying.

(B) College verifications of forthcoming matriculating status and 3.0 GPA must be postmarked also by December 1st of the calendar year in which the student in applying.

All scholarship awards are paid to the chiropractic college and will be credited to the specified student’s tuition account.

The IFCO Family Scholarship is one of several scholarships, including the John Stachurski Memorial Scholarship, the IFCO Scholarship for Leaders, and the Sylva Ashworth Scholarship. The IFCO has awarded thousands of dollars in scholarship money annually to chiropractic college students. IFCO hopes that these students would be philosophically aligned with the IFCO mission and apply that philosophy in a practical way inpractice upon graduation. Through scholarships, continuing education seminars and mentoring programs, the IFCO will be with them along their pathway to a successful career.
