Elected Experience: Dawn represents the 25th District in the State Legislature. Appropriations Subcommittee on Health & Human Services (Chair), Health Care & Wellness, Technology & Economic Development, Veterans and Military Affairs Committees, and Joint Legislative and Executive Long Term Care Task Force.

Other Professional Experience: Critical Care Registered Nurse, Good Samaritan Hospital, 1984–present. Career Military Wife (Vietnam to Gulf War) Mother, and Grandmother of six.

Education: B.S. Nursing (cum laude), University of Washington Tacoma.
