DivorceCare and DC4Kids Classes begin Thursday, August 24th and continue weekly through November 16; 6:30-8:30 PM, in the small Fellowship Hall. See bulletin insert.

The Youth Group of Wendell Baptist is conducting a Car Wash Fundraiser on Saturday, August 26th from 8am to 12pm, to raise money for the Hungary Mission Trip. If you feel called, you can make a donation per car or a flat donation. Please tell your friends and come by yourself to get your car washed at the Preschool Entrance C, under drive-thru canopy

There is room for more items in the gift baskets for the Hilliards (list of items is on the basket), which are located in the connector near the Welcome Center Entrance. Also anyone who would like to be included in meals for the Hilliards, please let Deb know and she will contact you to schedule your meal when she knows the Hilliards’ schedule. A mission support board has been placed in the Welcome Center to support our team heading to Budapest in October. Please go by and grab an envelope and place the amount written on the envelope inside it. You can then place the envelope in the offering plate, or give directly to Sandy in the church office. Remember all donations are tax-deductible that are placed in the envelope for cash donations please put your name in the envelope, for a check please put BHHP in the memo line. The Little Miss and Mr. Wendell Contest will be held October 6th and 7th. This contest is sponsored by the Wendell Chamber of Commerce and the proceeds go to the area food pantries. Registration forms for the children to participate may be found on the free book table that is located by going past the Welcome Center and connector, .through the double doors and into the hall leading to the large Fellowship Hall,

LIVE NATIVITY – If anyone would like to head up the Live Nativity Team and Event for this December, please contact the church office at 919-365-4631 or . Marian James will be glad to share her tips about putting on this event, but is not available to head it up this year. Some others are available to help with it.
