SolidEdge by BLANCO SteelArt:the innovative edge for kitchen worktops made of stainless steel
So solid and yet so light
A light, elegant appeal and clean solidity are attributes that one might think were mutually exclusive.However, the kitchen technology specialist Blanco SteelArt has now managed to combine the two features in perfect harmony with technical and optical skill in its new and unique SolidEdge.The solid edge is available in the freely plannable SteelArt segment Creation, and is completely in line with the trend for particularly filigree stainless steel worktops.
The secret behind the innovative SolidEdge is the 6-mmm solid edge design.It provides the layer bonded stainless steels worktops with the desired solid look.And what makes it so special:the combination offers reliable stability whilst also appealing for its elegant gracefulness.
Other extras contribute towards the maximum planning safety. SteelArt worktops with SolidEdge can be combined in two different ways depending on the desired effect: either at a distance from the furniture carcase to create an elegant floating effect with a shadow gap, or alternatively in the classic flush-fit version on the carcase.This solution also offers a very special touch to the kitchen ambience with a high level of design.
Furthermore, worktops with the new SolidEdge are lighter than completely solid versions because less material is used, and this also makes them easier to fit.The easy planability of SolidEdge worktops allows the creation of the most diverse geometries with cutouts or angles – as is customary with Blanco SteelArt.Needless to say, any SteelArt bowls and sinks can be integrated.SolidEdge solutions are also recommended for plans with large sink cabinets and hob cutouts.
SolidEdge, the innovative edging is being presented for the first time at LivingKitchen, the international kitchen trade fair, in Cologne in January 2011.
