Press Release

Additional Tours added to Cruise Itineraries

Captain Cook Cruises Fiji are delighted to announce that all Mamanuca & Yasawa Island seven night cruise passengers will now be offered the choice of a complimentary tour, regardless of embarkation day, to the Sabeto Mud Baths or Orchid Garden of the Sleeping Giant.

Additionally, if passengers embark on a Saturday they will now be offered a complimentary Tivua Island Day cruise on the Tuesday. If embarking on a Tuesday, they have the option to book the Tivua Island Day Cruise, for an additional cost, and join their seven night cruise from Tivua Island.

This change does not change the complimentary pickups and drop offs offered from most Mamanuca Island resorts on Saturdays only.

Seven night cruises are aboard the 130-passenger, fully accommodated MV Reef Endeavour small ship cruise vessel. Passengers discover remote villages, churches and schools of the untouched Fiji and take part in traditional village sevusevu ceremonies and Meke and Lovo feasts.

As well as being immersed in Fijian culture there is plenty of time for relaxing on white sandy beaches, swimming in crystal clear waters, snorkelling over amazing coral reefs and diving in spectacular blue lagoons. Stay onboard and laze by the pool or spa or be pampered at the ship’s Senakai Day Spa.

A complimentary Kids Club is available for children 5-9 years where children can not only make new friends and have lots of fun but also learn about and experience the Fijian culture. The Captain’s Kids Club operates between 9.00am and 12noon, 2.00pm to 5.00pm and from 6.30pm and 9.30pm.

The seven-night Mamanuca & Yasawa Islands Cruise combines the three and four night Yasawa Islands itineraries for the ultimate Islands experience. The cruise visits the private island of Tivua, the Sawa-l-Lau limestone caves and blue lagoon and cruises the spectacular passage from Yaqeta Island to the Yasawa’s northern reaches.

Departing Port Denarau every Tuesday and Saturday, the seven night Mamanuca & Yasawa Islands cruise starts from AUD$3044 per person twin share.

All fares include shipboard accommodation, meals, guided village, school and island tours, snorkelling and glass bottom boat excursions, daily island stopovers and water activities, hikes and Kayak safaris, on board entertainment, kids club (5-9 yrs), onboard Wi-Fi, 24 hour self-service tea and coffee bar, post cruise transfers to Nadi and Denarau hotels and Nadi airport and use of the ship's facilities including a swimming pool, spa’s, mini gym, sun deck, cocktail bar, lounge, dining room and library.
