YOUTH CHALLENGE ZONE FINAL

Entry Fee: $ 25.00

General Rules:

1.Open to all bowlers Thirteen (13) years of age and not yet Nineteen (19) years as of December 31, 2016 who are a YBC member, or who are attending a recognized school of learning, or who have a current C5PBA membership.

2.All Canadian 5-Pin Bowler’s Association rules will apply.

3.DRESS CODE WILL BE FOLLOWED: no jeans, sweatpants, caps or shirts advertising a liquor product.

4.All entries must be received by 7:00 p.m. Monday October 24, 2016. Entries are to be handed in at any Regina Bowling Centre.

5.Entry fee must accompany entry form. (Forms available from Lane Manager).

Zone Roll-Off:

1.Zone roll-off will consist of six (6) games, total pinfall.

2.Top seven (7) boys and top seven (7) girls, with the 15th qualifying spot being awarded to the next bowler who has the greatest pinfall in their qualifying round (either boy or girl), will qualify for the Provincial Championships.

3.Top five (5) boys and top five (5) girls will make up the Boys and Girls Teams. Next two (2) boys and next two (2) girls, along with the 15th qualifier, will make up the Mixed Team.

4.All competitors qualifying for the Zone teams will also be participating in the Singles Competitions at the Provincial Championships.

5.In the event of a tie for a qualifying position on any team, one (1) game roll-off will be held to determine the final placing.

6.All competitors participating in the Provincial Tournament will be required to adequately participate in the fundraising activities or pay assessment fees.

7.In the case of dispute, the decision of the Tournament Director will be final.

8.All qualifiers who withdraw or do not advance to the next level of competition are subject to automatic suspension from further participation in the Youth Challenge Championships unless and until that suspension is successfully appealed. (C5PBA Format General Rule #4)

Provincial/National Championships:

1.Provincial Finals, consisting of five (5) games will be held inPrince Albert, SK December 2016.

2.Top three (3) boys and top three (3) girls at Provincials will travel to National Championships, In Ottawa, Ontario March 23 – 26 ,2017.
