Harvest Festival : NEXT SUNDAY. The morning service will take place at 10 a.m. and will be followed by a Harvest lunch – PLEASE PICK UP TICKETS TODAY IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO JOIN US. Harvest Evensong is at 6 p.m. and the guest preacher is Canon Rowland Edwards. We are asking our young members to bring dried / tinned food for homeless charities and a cash collection for a charity called “Self Help Africa” THE CHURCH BUS WILL RUN HALF AN HOUR LATER THAN USUAL.
Parish Shopping Trip to Worcester : Saturday 21st November and the cost is £10:00. A deposit of £5:00 is payable as soon as possible. We will leave Morriston at 8:30a.m. and leave Worcester at 5:30p.m. All enquiries to Diane Richardson Tel: 517606.
200 Club : subscriptions of £20 are now being collected for those who wish to join for the coming year which should be paid as soon as you can if you wish to be included. All family and friends are also welcome to join. The first draw of the new year will be in October.

Men’s Society : our next meeting will be at 6.30 p.m. on Tuesday 6th October in the Welcome Inn. The speaker will be Archdeacon Robert Williams. All men are welcome. Please speak to John Richardson to book your meal.
Retirement : I am sure we would all like to take this opportunity to thank Ken Hannen who has been a Lay-reader in the Parish for a number of year’s. Ken has decided to retire when his licence expires this year and we thank him sincerely for the many inspiring service he has led over the years.
Fallen Organist : we were all sorry to hear that Eira fell and broke her hip while on holiday in Italy. We wish her well for a speedy recovery. I am very grateful to all the organists who have offered to cover as many of our services as possible but please bear with us on the occasions when we are unable to find cover.
Thankyou : could we thank all who gave cards and gifts for Tom on his birthday last week. It was much appreciated.
Swine Flu Update : the Bishop ahs now given permission for the chalice to be used again. You have the option to receive the bread and wine as usual with the chalice, or to receive just the bread. The Bread should not be dipped into the wine.
