V. Attendance, missed evaluations and late assignments

1. Regular attendance is an integral part of learning. Students are responsible for completing all work missed due to absence.

2. Any missed evaluation (e.g. test) will be assessed a ZERO, unless the absence is excused. Students must complete the missed evaluation upon return to school.

3. Due dates are important, especially during summer school because of the tight schedule. Students who don’t submit their assignments on time will get a zero unless they have a valid excuse (at teacher’s discretion) and present a note from a parent or guardian. Furthermore, due to summer school deadlines, an evaluation of late assignments cannot be guaranteed.
