The drive flyer/sign is attached in a separate PowerPoint file. We suggest you use the PowerPoint file for your sign. Please modify to include your building’s name, etc.

Save-A-Life provides phones for battered women’s organizations including Genesis Women’s Shelter and The Family Place. Save-A-Life also provides phones to elderly and disabled individuals. Tenants will be able to drop off used, old, new and broken cell phones to the location of your choice – concierge desk, security desk, management office, etc.

To get the best possible participation from your tenants, please send a letter and copy of the flyer to your Tenant Contacts. The drive can be promoted by publishing an article in your building newsletter, printing a sign or two for display in your lobby or concourse, via email and by putting out color copies of the flyer at your Concierge Desk (or Security Desk, Management Office, Etc.). The more you promote the drive, the better your results will be!

Please be sure to insert your building’s name, contacts, address, etc. for your Tenant Contact letters, sign, flyers and newsletter articles, instead of Julia’s as listed in the samples.

Please note that contact information for each participant, including email addresses, is attached to the same email as the manual.

Here is the drive timeline:

1)Drive dates are August 1 – 31, 2016.

2)BOMA Dallas Foundation Community Service Committee volunteers will pick up donated cell phones week of September 5th.
