PRICE OF HEROIN IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET APPROXIMATELY RS. TWENTY SIX LAKHS.
A team of officers of the Crime Branch led by Inspr. Kuldeep Singh, consisting of SI Sunil Jain, HC Mukesh Kumar, HC Mahesh, HC Jagdish Ram and HC Rajender under the supervision of Sh. Bir Singh, ACP Narcotics and overall supervision of Sh. Bhisham Singh, Addl. DCP/Crime has apprehended one person involved in trafficking of drugs and has recovered 260 Gms of fine quality Heroin. The Heroin recovered is worth Rs. Twenty Six Lakhs (Approximately) in the International Market.
Information was received on 30/10/2012 by SI Sunil that a person namely Gopal who is a resident of district Mandasaur, Madhya Pradesh and is indulging in supply of Heroin in Delhi. As per information Gopal would be coming near bus stand Krishi Kunj, J. J. Colony Inder Puri, New Delhi to deliver a consignment of Heroin to his client namely Dharambir between 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM. A trap was laid around bus stand Krishi Kunj, J. J. Colony Inder Puri, New Delhi and one person namely Gopal Singh S/o Late Sh. Arjun Singh R/o Village Dudhakhedhi, PS and Tehsil Bhanpura, District Mandasaur, Madhya Pradesh was apprehended at 07:30 AM. He was found in possession of 260 Gms of fine quality Heroin as such a case vide FIR No. 260/12 dated 30.10.2012 U/s 21 of NDPS Act has been registered at PS Crime Branch.
Gopal Singh S/o Late Sh. Arjun Singh R/o Village Dudhakhedhi, PS and Tehsil Bhanpura, District Mandasaur, Madhya Pradesh Age: 33 Years was subjected to intensive interrogation. During interrogation he has revealed as under:
Gopal is a young man of 32 years. He has one brother and one sister. He studied up to seventh standard in his village. He dropped out at the behest of his parents. His father was a farmer. The family owns agricultural land in native village. Due to loss in agriculture Gopal started working as carrier for local Heroin suppliers. He used to get handsome amount for his job. Four years ago one person namely Dinesh met with him and introduced him to one Dharambir in Delhi. Dinesh and Dharambir were jail-mates. Since then, Gopal had been supplying Heroin to Dharambir at the same place i.e. bus stand Krishi Kunj, Inder Puri, Delhi. Earlier he used to procure Heroin from different sources but since last two years he himself had been manufacturing Heroin. As advised by Dharambir, Gopal never carried Heroin in bulk.
Further investigation of the case is in progress.

HUGE QUANTITY OF DUPLICATE HEWLETT PASKARD CARTRIDGES, TONER, INK BOTTLE, STICKERS WORTH 40/45 LAKHS OF RUPEES: AIR PRESSURE MACHINE, SEALING MACHINE, HP DYE IN MANUFACTURING RECOVERED: ONE ARRESTED FROM DARYA GANJ AREA
With the arrest of Wasim, aged 28 years s/o Rashid r/o 3404, Gali Maliyan, Delhi Gate, Darya Ganj, Delhi (Permanent Address: H. No. 69 near Qureshi Masjid, Sambhal, Distt. Muradabad, (U.P.), Central District police has busted a racket involved in manufacturing/supply of duplicate cartridge and toner of HP company.
TEAM AND THE INCIDENT
A team consisting of SI Mahesh, HC Satish, HC Suresh and Ct. Sandeep was constituted under the close supervision of Sh. Veer Singh Tyagi, ACP/DIU/Central District. The complainant was also associated with the team.
On 30.10.12, a specific input was received regarding manufacturing of counterfeit/duplicate cartridge and toner of Hewlett Paskard in the area of Darya Ganj. This information was further developed and a raid was conducted at 3404, Gali Maliyan, Delhi Gate, Darya Ganj, Delhi and 86 pieces of HP Toner packed, 29 empty boxes of toner packing raw material, 606 pieces of toner without packing (refilled with ink), 831 pieces of HP Toner rods, 140 Ink bottles, 87 pieces of toner packed in HP plastic vaccum bags, 667 stickers of HP, 49 HP booklets, 76 pieces of empty HP plastic vaccum bag for toner packing, 287 pieces of toner cartridge, 02 Vaccum machine, 01 air pressure machine, 02 sealing machine, 20 duplicate plates of HP, 01 brush for dust cleaning, 01 knife used for manufacturing these duplicate cartridge and toner were recovered. The police team apprehended accused Wasim. A case under Copy Right Act was registered at P.S. Darya Ganj and investigation was taken up.
INVESTIGATION/ INTERROGATION
During sustained interrogation, accused Wasim disclosed that earlier used to work with one Atiq-ur-Rehman at Madhu Vihar where they used to manufacture duplicate cartridge and toner. There, he learnt the process of manufacturing of cartridge/ toner from Atiq-ur-Rehman. In the month of September, they were arrested by the staff of PS Madhu Vihar in a case of Copy Right Act. After release on bail from jail, he started manufacturing duplicate cartridge, toner and refill of cartridge/ toner on his own in his house itself. Further, he disclosed that he used to supply these duplicate cartridges/ toner at Jahangir Puri on order. He used to procure the vaccum bags and stickers etc. from nearby kabaris and offices around ITO.
Further investigation/interrogation is in progress.

DESPRATE SNATCHER ARRESTED, ONE GOLD CHAIN, ONE MANGAL SUTRA AND ONE BAJAJ PULSAR BIKE RECOVERED
The staff of AATS/West has arrested the most desperate snatcher who committed series of snatching of gold chains in West District and wanted in cases of Snatchings. With his arrest, one gold chain, one mangal sutra and one stolen Bajaj Pulsar bike 220 CC have been recovered so far.

INCIDENT & OPERATION
Keeping in view of the incidents of increasing number of Snatchings and MV thefts in the early morning and evening time in last two months, AATS/West was asked to collect intelligence about gangs involved in chain snatchings/MV Thefts. Upon this, a team of AATS/West comprising of, SI Naveen Kumar, SI Birpal Singh HC Ajay Kumar, HC Dilbag Singh, HC Sanjeev, Ct Krishan Kumar, Ct. Sanjeev, Ct. Shakti and Ct. Manendra under the supervision of Inspr. Maninder Singh and overall supervision of ACP/Operation Sh. Hari Darshan was deployed to gather information.
On 30/10/2012, at 5 PM, a special Anti Snatching/MV Theft checking was launched by AATS West staff at Paschim Vihar. Accused Rahul @ Abbas@ Chotu was seen coming from the side of Meera bagh, on a Black Pulsar Bike bearing No. DL3SC 661. When he reached Near Gas Godown BG-6 Block Paschim Vihar, the staff signaled him to stop. On seeing the police party, he accelerated the bike to escape from the spot. The alert raiding team had surrounded him; he was apprehended by the team. Accused was wanted in two Cases of Snatching of police station Janak Puri and Sultanpuri. The recovered pulsar motorcycle has also been found stolen Vide FIR No. 329/12 U/s 379 IPC PS Dabri Delhi. He was previously involved in 32 cases of Snatching/ Auto lifting. He is a History Sheeter of PS Mangol Puri Delhi.
INTERROGATION:
During the course of interrogation, it has been learnt that accused’s mother and father were indulging in supply/ sale of illicit liquor. He was born in the year 1990 and he had studied up to 5th class. He is having three brothers and one sister. His elder brother Rohit is also a desperate snatcher and B.C. of PS Aman Vihar , Delhi . Since his teen-age he was very fond of making new girl friends, going to pub and Discos. For this purpose he needs lot of money and to full-fill his desires, he started indulging in snatchings/Auto thefts. He was arrested first time in a case of snatching in 2009. He frequently changes his addresses in order to hide himself from police raids.
Accused further disclosed that he used to steal Pulsar motor cycles for committing snatchings and used to park the stolen vehicles at different places to pick the same easily for committing crimes. They used to target the ladies who come to pick up their school going children at the gates of residential complexes, main roads, etc. In the last one year, he along with his associates Jarnail, and Rohit, had committed a number of snatchings and MV thefts. Further investigation is in progress.

The special team of PS Jahangir Puri arrested a proclaimed offender namely Md. Ismail s/o Md. Israil r/o C-132, Gali No.1, Jahangir Puri, Delhi.He was declared PO by the Hon'ble Court of Sh. Sunil Kumar, MM, Rohini Court in Case FIR No. 821/03 U/s 323/324/34 IPC, on 29.10.2012. PS Jahangir Puri, Delhi. ASI Tahir Hussain and Ct Jaipal received a secret information about the presence of proclaimed offender Md. Ismail in the area of Jahangir Puri, Delhi. They laid a trap and apprehended him from Kushal Cinema, Jahangir Puri, Delhi.

SNATCHERS ARRESTED
The staff of P.S. Mianwali Nagar, West District has arrested two notorious snatchers namely Amar Singh S/o Bhajan Singh and Gurcharan Singh S/o Kashmir Singh who committed snatching, drug peddling and auto-lifting from various parts of city.

PREVIOUS INVOLVEMENT
The accused persons have committed crimes very cleverly and used to change their modus operandi and commit crime at different places. Hence, they were never apprehended so far.
INCIDENT & INVESTIGATION
Keeping in view the spurt in vehicle thefts in the area, all the field staff was strictly directed by ACP Sub-division Sh. Satish Yadav and SHO/Mianwali Nagar Inspr. Rajesh Kumar to keep close vigil in the area by way of vehicle checking etc. Acting upon the directions, SI Parveen Kumar No. D/4251, HC Ghan Shyam, No. 945/W, Ct. Ram Chander No.1601/W & Ct. Mukesh Chand, No. 1603/W were deputed for routine vehicle checking picket on 30.10.2012 at Sai Baba Mandir, opposite PVC Market, Jwala Puri, Delhi. During checking, two young boys on a Black Pulsar motorcycle No. DL 8SZ 5142 were noticed coming from Bhera enclave, Outer Ring Road side. After noticing the police checking, the motorcyclists applied sudden brake and tried to turn back in order to escape. The alert checking staff became suspicious and immediately nabbed them. They were asked to produce the papers of the vehicle to establish their identity. But they could not produce any document of the motorcycle and gave evasive replies. On inquiry, it was found that the motorcycle was stolen from PS Ranjit Nagar vide FIR No. 126/12. During interrogation they disclosed their names as Amar Singh S/o Bhajan Singh and Gurcharan Singh S/o Kashmir Singh. They were immediately apprehended and arrested U/S 41.1 (D) Cr.P.C. During personal search, 55 gms. Smack from the possession of Amar Singh S/o Sh. Bhajan Singh and 50 gms. Smack from Gurcharan Singh S/o Sh. Kashmir Singh was also recovered. Accordingly two separate cases under section 21 NDPS Act have been registered against them vide case FIR Nos. 273 & 274/12, dated 30.10.2012, PS Mianwali Nagar, Delhi, respectively.
INTERROGATION & MODUS OPERANDI
Both the accused were intensively interrogated. They disclosed that in recent past, they were working in Gurudwara Mahavir Nagar, Delhi as “Paat Karne Wala”, but used to indulge in drug peddling, snatching and auto-lifting to earn quick money. During interrogation the accused persons got recovered one Discover M/Cycle No. DL 4SBT 7568, which was used in snatching case FIR Nos. 284/12, P.S. Janak Puri, 100/12 & 277/12 P.S. Vikas Puri. The motorcycle has been taken into police possession. They further disclosed that they had stolen one motor cycle from P.S. Ranjit Nagar area. On their instance, one Pulsar motorcycle registration No. DL 8SZ 5142 was also recovered and the same was also taken into police possession. They used to sell the Smack to drug addicts in different localities. The source of supply of recovered Smack, is being ascertained.
