  • Pledge Drive - Review YTD dollars donated & collection % (85% of pledged has been donated)
  • Benefit – Final gross/net #s (27% increase in amount raised)
  • Sponsorship - $ collected YTD
  • Budget – Review YTD spending

WalkathonStacey Hara/Nisha Hazra

  • Miles for Mayer Walkathon: 6:00am-3:30pm on-site
  • Fundraising Platform - use Neon CRM through new website
  • Fundraising Period – May 23rd - June 3rd
  • Fundraising done by Class only – no individual student or family pages
  • Students will be asked to bring in 4 donations each = Goal of 2800 total donations for the school
  • Motivation for students - Each level (700, 1400, 2100 donations) will be marked by rewards (i.e. popsicle party, extra recess, etc.) chosen by Student Council for the entire school
  • Student Council taking leadership role
  • through morning announcements
  • determining school rewards
  • deciding a school project to fund if school makes its goal of collecting 2800 donations
  • Wellness theme leading up to WAT two weeks prior on morning announcements
  • Logistics for the day-of:
  • Pep Rally (8:45am)– hoping to hold outside bc we have very special performance to get kids motivated to walk
  • Sponsors set up on grassto meet/greet and sell food to parents (similar to Menchie’s at Fall Fest) where 20% of proceeds goes back to FOM – working to secure sponsors from those who have already sponsored at $1000+ level; so far, sponsors who expressed interest;

  • Walk course and identify and hazard areas
  • Stacey – contacting Stabucks and DD for possible morning of donations
  • Fruit/Water donations – any connections – Mariano’s or Whole Foods, Aldi?
  • Walkathon After Party:
  • Coordinated by Stephanie, Pam & Stacey
  • Begins at 3:45pm Lakeshore Sports & Fitness
  • Food & Beverage available for purchase for adults & kids
  • LSF providing bounce houses, activities & staff to entertain kids
  • Wristbands include all activities on sale for $10 each
  • Need volunteers to Welcome, sell raffle tickets, car magnets & pennants

ElectionsPam Lookatch

  • Holding elections on Tuesday, June 14th
  • Hold elections for Board of Directors & Officers on same night
  • Need to finish following up with all those who expressed interest to determine 13 board members for next year
  • Have many people who have expressed interest and if not on Board next year, will get involved on committees for events/fundraisers to groom for Board in future
  • Thank you to those of you who worked to recruit so many great candidates
