Call to Order: Meeting of the Inboard Racing Commission was called to order at 8:32 pm EST.
Roll Call: Attending: Mark Weber-Chairman, Sandy Cody-Inboard Administrator. Not Present: Mark Wheeler, Thom Heins, Dave Rankin, Kent Henderson, Ann Fitzgerald,Gordon Jennings.

2015 Eastern Divisional Bids: Inboard office received bids from Hampton, VA and Kent Narrows, MD. Commissioners to email the Inboard Office their vote by Thursday, April 10th, the vote was tied 7 to 7, the Chairman’s vote broke the tie. Kent Narrows, MD was awarded the 2015 Eastern Divisionals to be held on June 20-21, 2015. Hampton votes: Jeff Bernard, Sean Bowsher, Marty Hammersmith, Kim Liddycoat, Corey Peabody, Jim Sechler, Bill Thompson. Kent Narrows votes: Thom Heins, Bert Henderson, Kent Henderson, Bobby Kennedy, Julian Rucki, Howie Schnabolk, Mark Weber, MaryAnne Wilson.
Inboard Driving School: Bobby Kennedy reported that the East Coast boat will be housed at the Baker’s Shop and the trailer needs some repairs. Midwest Boat is ready for the Dayton Driving School, have two shafts and 2 props ready. Northwest Boat has been picked up and in route to the Northwest. Southwest Boat Dave Rankin and Gordon Jennings looking into a SE Boat and are working on a proposal. Need to thank all the members that have contributed to making the Driving Schools happen.
J Boat: Looking into selling the enclosed trailer and purchasing 2 trailers to replace enclosed trailer. Chairman wants input from Robin Shane and Chris Oliver. Sean Bowsher would like to promote the J Boat in Illinois. The Madison Regatta would like to have the J Stocks at race; Sean Bowsher stated that Robin Shane would bring the boats to Madison.
2014 Technical Committee: Jim Sechler gave report. Jersey Speed Skiff proposed Technical Rule Changes submitted nothing will happen till next year.
Series Committee: East Coast Series had a conference call scheduled. Aaron Stephens reportedhe is going to talk with racers and get some ideas. Southwest had no updates.
Spec Boat: Jim Sechler gave report. Progressing well, the Spec Boat will be at Rock Hall, MD test session. Need to promote boat at local races.
Region 10 Fund Request: Corey Peabody reported that Karl Fortner who does the live streaming for race sites would like to be reimbursed for his travel expenses. Karl would like to be reimbursed $275.00 for races east of the mountains and $125.00 for races west of the mountains, for a total of $1,525.00. Discussion followed with no motion made.
2.5 Litre Spec Engines: Esslinger engine having problems with parts delivery in time to dyno test, will readdress in the Fall. Duratek engine, parts on order this week. Goal is to test in Rock Hall, MD.
Championship Date Conflicts: Dave Shaw reported to Mark Weber that the 2014 Eastern Divisionals and the 2014 Flatbottom Nationals are on the same day which is against rule #25.4. Discussion followed, after further review and a call to Dave Shaw there are no date conflicts for the 2014 Championship races.
A motion has made by Bill Thompson and seconded by Jeff Bernardto adjournthe meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 9:50 pm EST.
