Code of Ethics and Conduct
The Alliance of Travel and Tour Agencies of Pampanga, Inc. is committed to promoting and assisting in the development of the travel and tourism industry and as such all members must conduct themselves and their business activities in a manner
that promotes the ideal of integrity in travel and tourism and agree to
act in accordance with the following principles
of the ATTAP Code of Ethics.
In promoting the aims of this association, members shall:
I. Encourage and promote the highest level of ethics within the tourism and travel industry while maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct.
II. Promote the aims and purposes of the association.
III. Aim for excellence in all aspects of the travel and tourism industry by conducting themselves consistently within acceptable industry standards.
IV. Safeguard the consumers against fraudulent act and unfair practices, and encourage all practices which foster integrity and esteem
to the industry.
V. Provide truthful and accurate information to consumers at all times.
VI. Strive to cooperate with all members and foster unity and harmony
in order to provide the highest quality service.
VII. Avoid real or perceived conflicts of interest whenever possible.
VIII. Will not engage in any unlawful activity.
IX. Promote the highest standards of environmental quality management by adapting measures and practices that mitigate global warming, i.e. patronizing companies
that offer environmentally safe and carbon-neutral products and services.
No member shall engage in conduct that is likely to bring the association into disrepute, i.e. any activity found to involve fraud, deception, misrepresentation,
breach of trust or other fiduciary obligation.
Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action, including the possibility of suspension or termination of membership as deemed appropriate by the Committee on Ethics.
