Have you ever had any problems with setting goals at the beginning but never achieving any of them? Or are you tired of making plans for something but giving up soon? Here are some tips that will help you set your goals and make them easier to achieve.

1. Be specific. Take studying English for example. “I want to study English hard” is not clear. “I want to study English for an hour every day is clearer and more specific. A specific goal helps you know how to work to achieve your goal.

2. Go on record. Writing down your goals helps you remember them and shows how much you want to achieve them. Put the list in a place where you can often see it, like on your desk or in your notebook.

3. Start slowly. If you want to study English for an hour every day, begin with half an hour a day first. Building a study habit little by little will make you feel confident, and it will be easier to achieve your goal.

4. Tell a friend. Share your goal with your family or a friend. They can help you when you have trouble. They can also cheer you up when you want to give up.

5. Reward yourself. Give yourself a little gift when you do well. It helps you keep going on.
