We conducted 7key informant interviews out of our full call list of 150 and logged no new communities. We will continue to curate our contact list. Due to rain in the region affecting the cellular network we were unable to reach many contacts.

Communications and Humanitarian Access

-Access to electricity has not returned in the four communes targeted.

-Cellular signal is weak when there is rain.

Population Movement and Resources

-There is some access to food now through humanitarian aid but it’s still not enough.

-Respondents report that there are fewer people moving seeking aid.

WASH

-Due to the rain the water sources are becoming dirtier. Respondents are worried that there are going to be more cases of cholera.

-Most respondents do not have access to a bathroom, open defecation is still a problem in the region.

Health

-Continued reports of cholera in all regions.

-Health Centers in Moron, Chambellan and Dame Marie are running out of basic medication stocks.

-There are increased reports and complaint of mosquitoes in the mountains.

-Increased complaints of mosquitoes returning to the area.
