LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT:

·  There is a clear drive to ensure National Standards of Excellence for HT are foci for school development, in terms of:
o  Qualities and Knowledge – of staff including SLT
o  Pupils and Staff – to maximise progress
o  Systems and Process – throughout the school
o  Self-Improving school systems – in conjunction with other schools
·  Staff CPD is effective, appropriate and has a positive impact on the children as 80% children are working at ARE by the end of the year in each year group and survey results concludes that at least 90% of children are happy, doing well and parents are pleased with the provision.
·  English and Maths subject leaders improve their subjects through an effective Action Plan and at least 80% of children are working at ARE.
·  Class Structure is effective in terms of class size, space and appropriateness.
·  Senior Teacher continues to improve in her new role, and achieves specific targets and, according to surveys, at least 90% of staff and parents are pleased with her work.
·  KCSIE document is embedded in school and all staff aware of aspects.
·  New Online Risk Assessment Package launched April 2017.
·  Broadband provider to be changed and running effectively without changeover issue.

·  Independent learning is evident and effective (through progress)
·  Children drive their own learning - feedback is effective and promotes progress.
·  The outcomes of work scrutiny with staff and Governors as well as from pupil interviews indicate children know about their targets, how to improve their work on at least 3 occasions through the year.
·  Tapestry is used effectively as an assessment tool for EYFS (See EYFS section)
