“It is more important to be clever than beautiful or handsome” Do you agree?
I believe that being clever is more important than being either lovely or attractive. In fact, cleverness means our mind is better and can do many things successfully. Also, being good-looking is only outer beauty and cannot lead us to success.
First, cleverness can make humans learn and do things quickly and it is useful in different parts too. For example, cleverness can be used for different occupations. For example, in the stock market, people will invest correctly if they are clever. Moreover, cleverness can be used in our daily life, such as cooking. When we are clever, we can learn different skills as fast as possible. However, being pretty or handsome cannot be used in different ways as it is only outer beauty. So to be clever is more important than being beautiful and handsome.
Second, cleverness can let us learn different things to make a better life. We will study better if we are clever. We can learn and understand the deep and true meaning of things when we are clever. These are the factors that colour our lives. Being cute or attractive only leads us to spend money to beautify our outer image, we do not know how to improve our lives.
On the other hand, cleverness is an inner beauty. It can show the knowledge and our inner heart after we use cleverness to absorb different knowledge. Intelligence can be used eternally but we cannot keep beauty eternally. Human beings get old and become less beautiful than before. Therefore, intelligence is different from beauty. It can be accumulated by experience and learning. This shows that to be smart is more useful than being lovely or attractive. So, I think to be smart is the most important thing.
In conclusion, cleverness can help us learn to do things quickly and better, and it is a kind of inner beauty since it beautifies our lives and makes it brighter than our outer beauty.
