Attendance Race
Congratulations to 2JS for achieving 100% in the attendance race, they were our weekly winners and moved five steps along the Jungle Path!
Classes 1SC, 2JS, 2MA and 4RJ have reached the Safari Stop and will receive a drink of Jungle Juice this week.
Learners of the Week
Congratulations to pupils awarded Learner of the Week certificates on Friday, these were:
Ethan Howes, Bonnie Cook, Hope Short, Hayden Ankers, Imogen Lincoln, Lily Cambridge, Dakota Petty, Roman Shrimpton, Jenson Brown, Rio Smith, Amelia Hart, Bailey Cole, Dexter Medcalf-Mead, Owen Head and Riley Foran.
Bingo Night
Letters went home on Friday regarding our next Bingo night. We are holding another one due to the popularity of this event, it is on February 27th 2018. Please be aware that we have to limit numbers and last time we had a number of families disappointed that they couldn’t get a place. Please book soon if you would like to join this fun event, we have already had 40 people booked in this morning. If you have not received a letter, please contact the school office for a copy.
Morning Arrival Times
Could we please remind you that all pupils should arrive on the premises between 8.40 and 8.50am. There are currently Year 5 and 6 pupils arriving at 8.30am and earlier meaning they are locked outside the premises and are unsupervised for a long period of time. Please ensure your child does not leave home too early.
Kingswood Residential Trip
There is a meeting straight after school today in the Dining Hall, to find out more about this trip. This is open to all pupils currently in Year 5 and will be taking place in September 2018.
Dogs
Dogs are not allowed on the school site; please ensure you do not bring your dog when bringing or collecting children from school unless you are happy to leave them outside the school grounds. This also means dogs that are being carried, we have had a number of complaints about dogs recently and have had dogs mess left on site.
Lost Property
After the SAT’s meeting last Wednesday, an umbrella was left behind, itis black with birds printed on. If you have lost this umbrella, please collect from the school office.
Parent Lunches
We look forward to welcoming everyone who has booked in for a Parent Lunch this week. Please come to the office at 11.45am and your child/children will come and meet you.
