Point (i) & (ii) - To be furnished by SGO being common to

all GDCs.

Point No. (iii) - All the major policy decisions, technical or administrative are made by the Head of the

Deptt. i.e. the S.G. At GDC level, the Addl. S.G./Director is the decision making authority and some Powers are delegated to his subordinate Officers i.e. DSG, DD, SS, (HQ), E&AO, TO, ASO etc. All the decisions are taken in consultation with the Addl. S.G. /Director and whenever the decisions are taken by the subordinate officers, the same are shown to the Addl. S.G. /Director by means of circulation copies of letter.

Point No. (vi) - Furnished vide Annexure ‘A’.

Point No. (vii) - No such arrangement exists at GDC level.

Point No. (viii) - Boards will be constituted on as and when basis.

Boards are constituted for holding DPCs for certain

categories of employees, recruitments, Procurement

of stores, conducting trade tests, weeding out of stores & records etc. Some of the board proceedings like DPC, Rectt. & Trade tests etc. are treated as Confidential and rest are open.
