To the Officers and Members of Constituent Chapters of the Order of the Eastern Star of Illinois and Guests from other Grand Jurisdictions;
On behalf of our Worthy Grand Matron, Sister Karen Morton, and our Worthy Grand Patron, Brother Sam Brooks, we are pleased to invite you to attend our 143rd Annual Session, “Be Someone’s Sunshine Today”, to be held at the Wyndham Springfield City Centre, in Springfield on September 30-October 4, 2017. Our Informal Opening and escorting of Distinguished Guests will be on Monday evening, October 2nd at 6:30 p.m.
We are enclosing a tentative schedule as well as the necessary forms. Please note the deadline dates and that all hotel reservations at the Wyndham Springfield City Centre must be made through the Grand Secretary at the Grand Chapter Office.
Reservations for all Grand Chapter sponsored social events should be made using the Social Events Registration Form. Simply indicate the number of reservations for each event and enclose one remittance. The completed form along with your check or money order, made payable to the Grand Chapter of Illinois, should be sent to the Grand Chapter of Illinois, P.O. Box 317, Macon, Illinois 62544. Reservations received after September 22, 2017 cannot be guaranteed. Complimentary guests of Grand Chapter must make a reservation by returning a completed form. If you have a seating preference, list your name and title on the Social Events Seating Preference Form, along with the names and titles of those with whom you wish to be seated and return it with your reservation request. You DO NOT NEED a full table to make a seating request.

The Grand Chapter Hospitality Room located on the 16th floor (Lincoln Suite) of the Wyndham Springfield City Centre is open to all members and visitors of the Order of the Eastern Star. The Grand Chapter of Illinois, the Past Grands’ Association and the Illinois Grand Representative Association sponsor this hospitality room. Please stop by for a visit during your stay in Springfield. Hospitality Room hours will be posted in the Hotel Lobby.
