We appreciate you taking your time to read more about our family. We have faced many obstacles trying to grow our family and feel that adoption is God's plan for us. We are blessed to have a wonderful, caring, and enthusiastic 3-year-old that would be the perfect big brother. We had Jack in August of 2010 and due to complications after his birth as well as with our second child (a daughter that passed away as a result of being born very premature) we are no longer able to have children. A very hard and bumpy road has led us to adoption and we could not be more happy and excited for this journey.
Mary is a caring, thoughtful 31-year-old. She has worked for the past five years as a special education teacher in Little Chute, WI and continues to love her job! She loves spending time with her family, especially doing fun activities outdoors. She also enjoys reading, working out, and spending time with her friends. She especially loves her summers when she can spend many long summer days with Jack playing outside, going to swimming lessons, and cooking/baking together.
Matt is a honest, easy-going, and loving 31-year-old who works as a consultant for Engineered Wood Technical Services, which him and his dad own. He loves his job and career and is fortunate enough to have a flexible schedule in order to stay at home with Jack two days a week. The other three days, Jack goes to an in-home daycare. In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, playing hockey, hanging out with his friends and watching any sporting event!
Jack James is a happy, active, funny, and caring 3-year-old! He loves playing outside (especially on his swing-set in the summer and hockey rink in the winter). Jack also enjoys playing with our black lab Jojo, playing any sports, pretending he is in a band, as well as playing "restaurant". He deserves a little brother or sister more than anyone and we are confident that he will shine as a big brother!
Some things we love to do together as a family include: spending time up north in the Hayward area swimming, making campfires, and fishing; going to Timber Rattler, Brewer, and Packer games; going on walks to parks; cooking and baking; and enjoying the outdoors together.
Both Matt and Mary have many extended family members close by and cannot wait to bring another grandchild, niece/nephew, and godchild into their family. We live in a ranch-style home in Kimberly, WI. We plan on sending our children to the schools in the Kimberly School District as well. We live close to parks and the Heart of the Valley YMCA where Jack attends swimming and activity classes. We also enjoy visiting our local library and are frequent visitors at the Building for Kids in Appleton.
Thank you so much for reading through our profile and considering us for the privilege to love, protect, and raise your child.
