almanac.
A)GENERAL INFORMATION
The all round development of the child involves both the scholastic and the non-scholastic areas of pupil growth. Thus, we try to
inculcate the habits of regular study, industry, discipline, sense of responsibility, co-operation, community service and civic
consciousness in our children to face challenges.
B)EVALUATION
I. There will be continuous and comprehensive evaluation which will be spread over the year. The student will be evaluated and
awarded grades subject wise as per the under mentioned aspects.

Grading:
The grading would be done according to a five point scale for indicating the achievements in the following order.
Grade / A+ / A / B / C / D
Remarks / Outstanding / Excellent / Very Good / Good / Average
II. CLASS TEST:
- There will be 7 monthly class (Monday) tests for each subject of 25 marks throughout the year as per the prescribed syllabus and test schedule which would be used as a yardstick to measure the aptitude (learning / writing skills) of the students and would be summarized in the month of September (First week); December (First Week) and March (Third Week). Accordingly, the report would be sent to the parents for their information. It is mandatory for each student to appear in at least 6 tests.
- In case there happens to be a holiday on particular test date, the test would be held on the next working day.
- Absentees: If a student is not able to take the class test due to illness, parents are suggested to inform HeadTeacher/Incharge in writing and submit a medical certificate to that effect not later than two days after the particular class test. Average Marks will be awarded for that particular test at the end of the session. However, the evaluation will be strictly as per guidelines of CBSE.
- If a student fails to take the class test on any grounds, other than medical, he/she is marked absent for the day. No retest is permissible in any case.
Development, Health will be carried out round the year and reported in the month of September, December and March.

Keeping in view the importance of co-curricular activities for all round development of the students, they are now complementary to curricular activities. These activities form the basic medium of learning for developing competence and making learning effective and everlasting for the child.
Activities will be conducted every month on Fridays.
