Position: Middle School Cheer Coach

Location: Middle School School

SALARY AND BENEFITS: Per Salary Schedule

QUALIFICATION:

·  Must be stunt certified and take classes to renew certification as required by WIAA.

·  Washington State Patrol background check.

·  FBI fingerprint check.

·  Type II Washington driver’s certification training (provided by the district).

·  Pass Washington coaching standards.

·  Pass First Aid Training.

·  Ability to choreograph cheers, dances and assists with pep assembly planning if asked.

·  Ability to communicate ideals of program and keep ideals within scope of athletic code and student code of conduct.

·  Ability and willingness to communicate and work with other coaches and staff.

·  Ability to involve and communicate with parents and participants.

·  Ability to be available for all practices and games.

·  Willingness to collaborate with other student organizations.

·  Genuine interest in working with school students.

·  Recognize safety is the priority and will implement a plan for safe practices and performances.

·  Learn and follow ASB financial procedures.

·  Work with the elementary and middle school teams to continue the growth of members as they continue throughout the years.

·  Knowledge and experience of cheerleading and stunting techniques, strong communication and organization skills required.

·  No traveling.
