Aims of the contest:
- develop stage culture and enhance the level of participants;
- give an opportunity to participate in other projects, contests and festivals;
- give a possibility to exchange with the methodical and practical work experience;
- strengthen the international bounds.
I. PARTICIPANTS AWARDS
Grand Prix of „Kaunas Talent - Classic“ contest– 1000€, statuette, diploma,
1, 2, 3 places and the names of the laureates in each age group, statuettes, diplomas, prizes of sponsors and organizers.
1, 2, 3 class diplomas (4 - 6 places).
All participantswill be awarded with participation certificates andsouvenirs.
On condition of absence of award-worthy artists, Grand Prix and award-winning places may not be assigned. If several contestants collect equal number of points; the chairperson of the jury has a right for an additional vote. Jury’s decision is final and indisputable.
II. PARTICIPANTS
Age groups:
15–19 years old,
20–27 years old,
28–35 years old.
III. ORGANIZATION OF THE CONTEST
„KAUNAS TALENT CLASSIC 2017“ – was formed by the request of „Kaunas Talent“ participants, international contest of classical singing by soloists. The contest will consist of three tours.
All the participants will be performing songs accompanied by piano or other musical instruments. It is desired, that the participant will have his own concertamster. If the participant does not have one, the organizers will be able to arrange a concertmaster for an additional price of 20€ (includes 1 concert and a rehearsal).
REQUIREMENTS OF THE PROGRAMME
TOUR I
15–19age group:
- Song in participants native language;
- Renaissance or baroque aria / arijet.
20–27age group:
- Song in participants native language;
- Baroque or classicist aria from opera, cantata, oratorio.
28–35 age group:
- Song in participants native language;
- Baroque or classicist aria from opera, cantata, oratorio;
- The Romantic Age or XXa. aria from opera, cantata, oratorio.
TOUR II (only the selected participants, 10 from the each age group)
In this tour the selected participants will be performing two songs:
- A freely chosen classical song;
- Aria / song from a musical or operetta.
This tour will take place accompanied by piano (if choosing your own song) or accompanied by Chamber orchestra(if choosing one of the organizers offered songs). It is not allowed to repeat the repertoire from the tour I.
TOUR III
The first place winners of each age group will be attending the closing concert at the Kaunas Zalgiris Arene. The winner of the Grand Prix in the Classical Singing category will be announced during the concert.
The order of the contestants will be decided randomly. The performances will be ranked in an open voting, maximum score of 30.
Voting criteria: professionalism, scenicity, interpretation of the song performed.
Participants, who are willing to take part in the international contest, must send the package of 4 parts ONLY to this email: (the deadline for the applications is 01November 2017):
1. The application form;
2. Copy of passportorbirthcertificate(will be usedonlyfor organizationalpurposes, in accordance with LR Personal DataProtection, ActNo. I-1374 1996, June 11);
3. 2 colored photos in perfect quality and JPG format (not less than 1MB – for brochure, 3x4 format photo – for accreditation). Poor quality photos will not be printed;
4. Two halfbacks(11-13 years) orthreehalfbacks(from 14 years) (-) in WAVformat via the 1st field indicate our e-mail address – , in the 2nd field – your e-mail address). By sending the applicationparticipantsandtheirmanagers agreewith theconditions of the contest.

Participants must stay in the hotels appointed by the organizers. Leaders of delegations are responsible for the life, the health and the behaviour of the members of delegations during their stay in Lithuania.Participants must have an insurance.
Participants also assume all liability of any disputes for the origin of tracksused for their participation in the competition. The Organizers are notresponsible for any offense that could be committed in this regard, being released specifically for each participant by signing the Entry Form.
The organizers of the contest reserve the right to change the rules and regulations.
