Deposits may not be applied as payment for your last month’s rent. The disposition of your deposit(s) will be in strict compliance with applicable state laws. No deductions or withholdings will be made without first considering “reasonable wear and tear”.

The following is a list of items that should be handled before you vacate:

1.  Notify applicable utility companies to have service taken out of your name as of the last date for which you pay rent.

2.  Leave your apartment clean to avoid additional charges. Trash must be removed and placed in the proper containers.

3.  Schedule an appointment for a move-out inspection on the day you vacate. Move-out inspections are done during normal business hours. Please be present for the inspection if possible.

4.  Return all keys issued to you at move-in, including those to the amenities and the entrance gate opener (if applicable). You will be charged rent for every day until all keys are returned to the rental office.

5.  Forwarding address. Please leave us your correct forwarding address with zip code, and current phone number. Each lease holder should provide a forwarding address to insure the return of security deposits due.
