40. Mensa Foundation Scholarship Completion – awards ranging from $300 to $1,000.Awards will
be made on the basis of an essay of fewer words then 550 words, which describes the applicant’s
career, vocational, or academic goal toward which the scholarship is to provide aide. For more

· Drexel is providing 2 five year scholarships of $5,000 per year.

Scholarship will be coordinated with other awards and will not be cumulative

48. John McKee Scholarship
Eligibility:
· Under age 19 years on March 1, 2014
· Planning to attend a four-year college full-time or a vocational school
· Fatherless (i.e., whose biological or adoptive father is actually dead or has been declared missing by a competent authority) of any race; “missing” may also include permanently absent, dysfunctional, and not functioning as a father to the applicant in need of financial assistance
· Resident of the five-county Philadelphia area.
· SAT and /or ACT scores are sent directly from the Testing Agency.
· The scholarships codes are: SAT Code is 0069 and the ACT Code is 6898
· Maximum four year college award is $21,500 and vocational school award is $1,000 per year.

49. Anna M. Vincent Scholarship Trust – You must have financial need; be of high
scholastic standing and good character; and residents of Philadelphia or the
surrounding 5 county area (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery Counties or
Burlington, Camden and Gloucester Counties. Students who have not held a paying
job while in school may not be considered for funding. Grant awards range from
$1,000 to $5,000 and are renewal up to 5 years. Apply on line at www.annavincent.org

50. Spirit of Manayunk Scholarship – Criteria:
· Student must reside in zip code 19127 or 19128.
· Applicant must show a realized financial need.
· Applicant must demonstrate considerable commitment to community service impacting Manayunk.
· Applicant initiates or is involved in activities that benefit his school.
· Applications are available in the Guidance Center.

51. United Steelworkers - District 10 (Eastern 2015) in memory of Hugh Carcella –
offers six, four year scholarships ($1,000 per year). You must be a member in good standing,
or the son or daughter or legal ward of a member of United Steelworkers, District 10 (Eastern )
local union participating in the Scholarship Program; (or the son or daughter or legal ward
of disabled or retiree or decease member of an affiliated union.) Applications may be obtained
from the participating local unions.

55. University of Notre Dame AnBryce Scholars Initiative – supports and cultivates first generation
college students from the most disadvantaged sectors of society who show promise as future leaders
and game changers , Students must be admitted to Notre Dame before being given access to the
AnBryce application.

56. Chestnut Hill College Legacy Service Award – is a scholarship of $10,000 over 4 years in
addition to any other scholarship/award received.
Criteria:
· Academically dependable students
· Students who have a history of making an impact on the immediate community of the school,
their faith community , and/or other sphere of influence
· You must first be accepted to Chestnut Hill College and then inform either Mr. Zampogna or
Mr. Tarducci of your interest in the scholarship
