Kuro Dragon is pleased to announce that an opening has arisen for a new Storyboard / Motion Designer. The role presents an exciting and challenging opportunity to work in an award winning studio. Kuro Dragon creates exceptional animated content, character animation and technical animation for clients in a variety of sectors. Animations are used in commercials, mobile apps, websites, exhibitions, presentations and games.

The job is full time and would involve relocation to Newcastle/Gateshead, UK. All applicants must be holders of UK or EU passports as unfortunately sponsorship for a work permit is not available at this time.

Role Overview This role will be diverse and require someone with a range of skills. You will be responsible for creating concepts in a broad range of styles in accordance to the requirements of each project/client. The role involves visualising characters, environments and creating detailed storyboards for a range of clients. Candidates must demonstrate a broad range of styles and be able work from an initial idea to a finished concept. The ideal candidate would be proficient in After Effects, Photoshop & Illustrator and will also be able to produce high quality motion graphics work.
Functional Responsibilities

- Attend meetings on-site and potentially on client location

- Professional Photoshop & Illustrator skills
- Professional After Effects skills
- Strong background in traditional art skills

Person Specification In addition to having a strong foundation of artistic ability and creative talent, the role requires working as part of a small team so enthusiasm and very good communication skills are essential.
