Open Gyms
Thursday:6/7 and Wednesdays: 6/13, 6/20, & 6/27 6-7:30pm. Meet in the Fieldhouse.Open to any HHS student interested in joining the Fall 2018 team.
Summer Camp/Preseason Training & Instruction
July 9th-26th,8:00-10:30am, Monday-Thursday. Players in grades 10-12will be asked to sign up and stay 2-3 times each from 10:30-12:30 (10:30-12:00 the first week)to help teach and support the younger campers in grades 3-6 & 7-8.
Registration is handled by the Hampshire Township Park District for insurance reasons and is coached and directed by the HHS coaches. Cost is $85 and includes a shirt.
Please register online athampshireparkdistrict.orgor in person at 390 South Avenue, Hampshire. Registration issues or questions can be directed to HTPD at 847-683-2690. Please do not wait until the last minute, but if you do register after July 6, print the receipt and bring it the first day of camp to show proof of waiver.
Registration for Tryouts and the Season
Online fall sports registrations will open the last week of May and must be completed byAugust 1stfor Volleyball. Required: Online registration, $150 participation fee paid, and current yearly physical on file. (The physical required for incoming freshmen covers this requirement and they do not need a separate sports physical).

Tryouts
August 8th, 9th, & 10th(1:00-3:30pm). This is BEFORE the school year starts.
Practices
Once the teams are chosen, practiceswill begin Saturday August 11th. Uniforms given this day. Monday 8/13 is 1-3:30. School starts Tuesday 8/14 and practices will be daily after school until 5:30 and Saturday mornings throughout the season. Each teamwill also have up to 3 Saturday tournaments.
Parent Night Meeting/Scrimmage, Team photos
Friday, August 18th team photos will be after school. At 7pm parents of fall athletes will meet in the main gym to hear from our Athletic Director and Athletic Trainer. At 7:15 volleyball parents will move to the fieldhouse to meet the coaching staff and go over program expectations. Scrimmage games will follow. (Fr vs Soph & JV vs Varsity) (times may change)
Schedule
There are 4 team levels. (Varsity, JV, Sophomore, & Freshmen). Schedules will be posted on the HHS Athletics Webpage. ( During the season you can also find rosters & scores here.
Summer League
HHS participates in a summer competition league. It is for grades 10-12. A few freshmen athletes might be invited to attend based on need for positions.
JV/Varsity:Mondays (July 9, 16, & 23)1st match starts 5pm in Hoffman Estates (Prairie Stone Sports, 5050 Sedge Blvd). Tournament July 28 in Crystal Lake (215 Exchange Dr., Suite E)
Sophomore/JV:Tuesdays (July 10, 17, &24) 1st match starts at 6pm in Marengo (Fusion Sports Center, 11104 S. Grant Hwy).
