Volunteer Service for “UNICEF Charity Run 2010”
Introduction
UNICEF, United Nations Children’s Fund, is the world's leading UN organization working specifically for children. Since our establishment in 1946, we have been working with other UN agencies, governments and NGOs to ensure children’s rights in survival, development, protection and participation. UNICEF was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1965 for its efforts and contributions to children worldwide.
UNICEF Charity Run has been held for four consecutive years and we are grateful to enjoy the generous and on-going support of the public. This year, the event will be organized again at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and Sunny Bay on 28 November 2010. The UNICEF Charity Run 2010 will continue to raise funds for UNICEF’s “Unite For Children. Unite Against AIDS” Global Campaign. The event will be divided in three categories: Half Marathon, 10km Run and 3km Fun Run. We aim at protecting a baby’s right to be healthy and born free from HIV with this meaningful running event.
To make the UNICEF Charity Run come to success, it needs the support of many volunteers. We sincerely invite you to be one of the volunteers and contribute to such meaningful event! Thank you.
