We are currently looking for the right individual to fill an excellent management position available in our Food and Beverage department.
Summary:
Director of Catering and Events is responsible for the banquet sales and service functions in the club. Supervises and trains banquet service personnel to assure member and guest satisfaction through proper food and beverage service and presentation. Maximizes the club’s profitability from the catering function.Ensures that all internal contracts, invoices and banquet event orders are prepared in a timely manner. Meets with clients, sells and services banquet events at various venues. Builds relations with the community and local businesses as well have local contacts to drive event sales.
Act as MOD (manager on duty) in charge of entire F&B Department in absence of F&B Manager.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years management experience required in private club or upscalehotel.
- Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual.
- Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional Member service.
- Full time flexible hours are required (able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays).
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
- Proficient in computer skills including catering software, POS systems, Word and Excel.
- Professional appearance appropriate for a premier country club.

- Must have good supervisory skills.
- Must have good communication and ability to promote sales.
- Must be skilled in time management.
- Must have teaching and motivational skills.
