Maintaining Our Profession for the Future

The Contribution Environmental Health makes to Scotland’s Public Health Agenda

Building on the success of last years’ seminar, the REHIS Southern Centre is pleased to announce that the training event preceding the 2017 AGM will be a continuation of the theme of Environmental Health’s role in the Wider Public Health Agenda.

The event is intended for both student and qualified officers that are interested in the role of Environmental Health in Public Health and understanding the contribution made by the profession in improving Scotland’s population health. The event will include speakers at the forefront of policy development in relation to future of Scotland’s public health and details of initiatives/programmes that EHO's are currently active in.

The seminar will also include speakers on topics associated with indoor and outdoor air quality – both of which are the themes of World Environmental Health Day on 26 September 2017.

There will be 3hrs 20mins Core CPD available for attendance at the training event.

This event is free to members and £30 for non-members – booking is essential. Please complete the booking form below and return it by email to Gwyneth Heaney or Pat Hoey or .
