Post:Website Project Co-Ordinator
Department:Membership; line managed by Communications Manager.
Salary:£23,584 pro rata
Tenure:Two 3 month contracts available.
Flexible and part-time options available.
Job Objectives:
- To maximise the organisation’s use of its content management systems and websites.
- To equip teams across the organisation to create their own engaging web content.
- To create models for analysis of engagement in order to boost engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- To maximise the organisation’s use of its content management systems and websites.
- Review the potential functionality of our current content management systems (run by UnionCloud and MSL – training and support will be provided).
- Review/audit current use of those content management systems for each team in the organisation.
- Create development plans for maximising use of the content management systems for each team in conjunction with the Communications Manager
- To equip teams across the organisation to create their own engaging web content.
- Create easy to follow user-guides for each area of the CMS in use.
- Create simple templates/procedures for teams to use in order to create their own web content and manage their own web-pages.
- Provide day to day training and support for individual users of the CMS.
- To create models for analysis of use of different web systems currently in use in order to boost engagement.
- Work with the Head of Communications and Engagement to set ambitious KPIs for student engagement with the organisation's digital presence.
- Create easy to use systems for individuals and teams to monitor and track student engagement.
- Work with the Communications Manager to develop strategies for increasing engagement in the organisation’s digital presence.
- Ensure web-analytics is functioning and tracking desired KPIs
General Duties:

- Where you are required to work with volunteers you must support and manage them appropriately in line with the Students’ Union volunteer policy
