A BILL
To develop a sexual harassment prevention curriculum which
all business employees must attend across the nation.
1 Be it enacted by the Members of the YLI Congress
2 of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
3 SECTION 1. TITLE
4 This Act may be cited as the “No More Sexual Harassment Act of 2010.”
5 SECTION 2. PURPOSES
6 (1) To educate all employees about sexual harassment in a work environment;
7 (2) To protect employees from sexual harassment in a work environment;
8 (3) To reduce future instances of sexual harassment;
9 (4) To increase awareness of previous sexual harassment instances.
10 SECTION 3. ELIGIBILITY
11 An individual must participate if he or she
12 (1) is a citizen of the United States;
13 (2) is an employee of any private, public or government run business;
14 (3) is over the age of 16.
15 SECTION 4. TERMS AND BENEFITS
16 (1) All employees must attend the program within two months of starting a new job;
17 (2) All employers must submit an updated status report every year;
18 (3) If an employee attends a program during regular work hours, the day taken off will not
19 be counted as a vacation day;
20 (4) Every 10 years, an employee must attend the program;
21 (5) No employee can be let go while he or she is attending the seminar.
22 SECTION 5. FUNDING
23 The funding of this program will come from the federal government and the taxes of the
24 people.
25 SECTION 6. ADMINISTRATION
26 The Department of Education is established to administer programs that educate American
27 citizens about certain issues. This department of the federal government would administer
28 this program and keep track of which employees have or have not attended the mandatory
29 seminars on sexual harassment.
30 SECTION 7. AUTHORIZATION OF APROPRIATIONS:
31 For purposes of carrying out this title, there is money to be appropriated, $8 billion
32 for Fiscal Year 2006, and such sums as may be necessary thereafter.
