London Stock Exchange MiFID II – Customer Update
The purpose of this announcement is to update customers with important dates for the upcoming MiFID II releases for London Stock Exchange including Millennium Exchange, TRADEcho and Group Ticker Plant.
London Stock Exchange – Millennium Exchange Release 9.2
London Stock Exchange Millennium Exchange release 9.2 for MiFID II will follow the release schedule below.
Customer Development Service (9.1) Closed / Friday 28 July 2017 – Wednesday 2 August 2017Customer Development Service (9.2) Go-Live* / Thursday 3 August 2017
Customer Dress Rehearsal 1 (Mandatory) / Saturday 7 October 2017
Customer Dress Rehearsal 2 / Saturday 28 October 2017
Production Go-Live** / Monday 20 November 2017
*Customer Development Service Go-Live will be in maintenance mode.
**Production Go-Live date is pending completion of internal testing and customer readiness activities.

Additional technical documentation will be made available in due course on the use of MiFID II fields introduced in Millennium Exchange Release 9.2.

TRADEcho – Phase 2
TRADEcho Phase 2 for MiFID II will follow the release schedule below. Customers should note that support for existing LSE PTGW Compatible API will be withdrawn with TRADEcho Phase 2 and the use of MMT adopted API will become mandatory.

Group Ticker Plant (GTP) MiFID II
Group Ticker Plant for MiFID II will follow the release schedule below. Customers should note that the London Stock Exchange production GTP feed will be upgraded 1 week before the go-live of Millennium Exchange release 9.2 for London Stock Exchange and TRADEcho Phase 2. Customers should be ready to support the new GTP protocol from this date.
Existing TRADEcho trade channels will be decommissioned from TRADEcho phase 2 production go-live. TRADEcho trade data will be available only via the new GTP MiFID II channels.
