Youth Rally Producer

Job Description:

The Youth Rally producer supports the Connecting aspect of the Annual Conference Mission by working with the Young People’s Ministry Network (YPMN) Minister-in-Residence at Pecometh and the Conference Council on Youth Ministries (CCYM) to plan, organize, and produce an event, called the Youth Rally, which creates an environment where youth can connect with Jesus and with other youth to deepen their discipleship.

Accountability:

To the Director of Connectional Ministries (DCM)

Tasks:

1.  Work with the CCYM Coordinator, in conjunction with the YPMN Minister-in-Residence at Pecometh, to coordinate interaction with CCYM and develop the theme they have identified for the Youth Rally.

2.  Work with CCYM to identify potential artists, musicians, and speakers.

3.  Draft contracts with the venue, hotels, vendors, artists, musicians, and speakers, to be presented for final approval to DCM and Business Director.

4.  Work with CCYM to design logo and t-shirts.

5.  Coordinate all advertising and marketing.

6.  Recruit and organize break-out sessions, as determined.

7.  Coordinate Exhibit Hall.

8.  Establish at least five hours per week in Office Hours at the Conference Resource Center to answer questions, complete paperwork, and maximize teamwork with Conference Staff to coordinate mailings, registration, advertising, etc.

9.  Work with CCYM and adult volunteers to provide leadership for the Youth Rally.

10.  Design transportation schedule.

11.  Work with Production Team (Mid-South Audio, Jay Delp, TEAM, backstage manager, and production manager) to create and execute production schedule.

Qualifications and Skill Set:

1.  Must have a heart committed to Jesus Christ and a passion for serving youth.

2.  Must have the experience and spiritual maturity to effectively connect with youth and the CCYM to develop a rally which will speak to youth’s needs today.

3.  Must have the ability to work with a team, including the CCYM, the YPMN, the volunteers, and the various artists and tech teams.

4.  Must have experience working with contracts.

5.  Must have advertising and marketing skills.

6.  Must have organizational skills to design to the smallest detail the aspects of the youth rally, including the main sessions and the break-out sessions.
