SECTION L – NURSERY STAKES CLASSES

The age of riders for the Nursery Stakes class to remain at not exceeding their 13th birthday before 1st January in the current year.

The age of riders for the Nursery and Cradle Stakes classes will be reviewed again at the end of the current season

HEIGHT OF FENCES FOR RIHS FINAL AND QUALIFYING ROUNDS FOR THE NURSERY STAKES CLASSES

The height of fences to be increased to

70 cms minimum 85 cm maximum and 70cms to 95 cm spread

HERITAGE PRETTY POLLY RIHS Qualifying RIDDEN CLASS

The qualifying rounds to be run two classes as qualifiers and then take the top two forward for a Championships where the highest placed of the top 4 will qualify.

The Final would only be one Class but would be split for judging into two sections, Small Breeds and then Large Breeds and then all ponies would go back into the ring for the final placings.

RULE 41

Area Chairmen recommended Council consider amending Rule 41:-

This does not apply to competitors with more than one animal in the Mixed Height WHP/WH or Heritage WHP classes or to competitors who are competing in another class at the same time at the Winter, Summer and Heritage Championships show or in classes that are not qualifiers for the RIHS, HOYS or Olympia at other BSPS affiliated shows.

Rule 227 It was felt the wording – It is not advisable to use this fence in Cradle and Nursery Stakes, was not clear.
